Ex-CNBC anchor who got NBCU boss fired cozies up to Johnny Depp in photo

Hadley Gamble — the former CNBC anchor whose sex harassment complaint against NBCUniversal’s boss got him fired — gushed over Johnny Depp after taking a photo with the embattled actor in France.

Gamble wears a short plum dress with a long train and a big smile as she stands alongside the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star in the photo she posted to Instagram on Tuesday — following the premiere of Depp’s new French-language film at the Cannes Film Festival.

Gamble captioned the picture “In good company.”

When an Instagram user asked Gamble “What was he like?” the former anchor called Depp a “doll” as well as “gracious and smart.”

Gamble also posted a selfie of the revealing mauve gown she wore to the film’s premiere, reportedly as a guest of Saudi Prince Turki Al-Faisal.

Depp’s appearance on the red carpet at Cannes marked his return to the screen following last year’s defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard, who alleged spousal abuse by the star.

Last June, a Virginia jury awarded Depp a combined $15 million in damages after finding that Heard defamed him in a 2018 op-ed in The Washington Post.

Gamble, CNBC’s former Middle East anchor, left the network last month after a negotiated settlement with parent company Comcast.

Her more than 74,000 Instagram followers were giddy over the Depp photo, with one commenter urging the two to become an item.

“This should be a thing bc you guys are HOTT,” one commenter wrote.

Another Instagram user wrote: “Y’all better go to dinner.”

“This is too delicious!!!” wrote another Instagram user.

The Saudis partially financed Depp’s new film, “Jeanne du Barry,” in which the star portrays King Louis XV.

Gamble attended the premier alongside the top marketing officer for the Saudi-based Red Sea International Film Festival, according to Roger Friedman’s report for the Showbiz411 news site.

Friedman did not name the marketing director, but a search on LinkedIn reveals that Samaher Mously, a US-born Saudi national, heads the organization’s digital marketing and communications arm.

The marketing rep told Friedman that she and Gamble were guests of Saudi Prince Turki Al-Faisal, according to the outlet.

The Red Sea exec added that prince was “basically her boss,” Friedman reported.

Gamble said she knew the 78-year-old royal because “I cover oil and gas,” according to Friedman.

The Post has sought comment from Gamble.

The 41-year-old journalist had an affair with Shell and also reportedly had a relationship with Tom Barrack, the wealthy private equity real estate investor and an adviser to former President Donald Trump.

Friedman observed that he “could see how Shell and Barrack enjoyed [Gamble’s] company.”
