A few key franchise players have been confirmed to return in A Quiet Place Part III, with exciting new actors also joining the cast. The Quiet Place franchise takes place in a post-apocalyptic future in which most of humanity has been wiped out by alien invaders with a heightened sense of hearing. The remaining survivors have to stay silent, or they’ll be snapped up like the rest of the human race. This sci-fi horror universe has the potential for countless stories, including the upcoming prequel spinoff A Quiet Place: Day One.
The first A Quiet Place movie set up a sequel with the Abbott family figuring out how to fight the aliens using the signal from daughter Regan’s hearing aid. A Quiet Place Part II ended with Regan leaving her hearing aid attached to the microphone at a radio station, allowing the signal to be weaponized by others across the desolate wasteland that remains of America. The upcoming threequel A Quiet Place Part III, which will conclude the trilogy, is set for a 2025 release date. Early into the preproduction stage, some actors have been confirmed for the A Quiet Place Part III cast.
