8 Best Items to Craft in Hello Kitty Island Adventure (& Where To Find Them)

In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, several items can be crafted at Chococat’s crafting tables. While some items may be simply for crafting other larger items, several crafting plans are essential to progressing through the story or increasing friendship with certain characters.

Chococat’s crafting table is one of the first several things players will unlock when beginning Hello Kitty Island Adventure, as it is necessary almost immediately. There will be a couple of crafting plans available from the start, but most will have to be found in chests, lying around the island, or unlocked through friendship or quests with other characters.

8 Fizzy Crystals

Fizzy Crystals are different from some of the other Crystals in Hello Kitty Island Adventure that players may be familiar with. Those are Power Crystals used to power up the island. The Fizzy Crystal can be crafted and used to make Soda at the Soda Machine.

While fixing the Dessert Machine, players will be asked to set up Chococat’s second crafting table, where they must make Fizzy Crystals. This is done with 6 Fizzy Ore, which can be found in the mine cart cave in Gemstone. To unlock this crafting plan, players need to level up their friendship with both Pompompurin until the Dessert-ed Boat quest is available.

7 Sparks

Sparks are another item crafted to use to craft other things. Sparks can only be crafted after obtaining the crafting plans from Pochacco. After reaching level 4 friendship, which can be done quite easily through gifting and returning Pochacco’s lost luggage in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Pochacco will unlock the A Zipline Adventure quest, which allows players to begin using Ziplines upon completion.

Unfortunately, the ziplines need Sparks to operate, so the crafting plans will be handed over at this point. To craft Sparks, players will need 3 Light Stones, which are given as a reward gift by Kuromi, so they should be easy to obtain.

6 Ingot

Iron Ingot is something else in Hello Kitty Island Adventure that’s primary purpose is simply to refine other materials into something that can be used to craft further. To craft Ingot, players will need to acquire 3 Iron Ore. Unlocking the option for crafting Ingot comes whenever players are willing to get it as no one holds the plans, but instead can be found near the Dance Hall in Gemstone.

​​​​​​​There will be a barrel with a blue house on it outside the Dance Hall, and the crafting plans for Ingot will be rolled up and sitting on top of it. An ingot is incredibly useful and will be necessary when crafting certain tools players need, like the Pickaxe and Snorkel.

5 Fishing Rod

The Fishing Rod is a one-time crafting item as it will become one of the major tools players need. To unlock the plans for crafting a fishing rod, players will need to level up their friendship with Badtz-Maru until he initiates his tutorial quest for fishing in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. At that point, he will be looking to teach players how to fish, but first, they’ll need to craft a fishing rod.

​​​​​​​The fishing rod crafting plans will be given during this quest, and players can craft it at Chococat’s crafting table using 10 Sticks, 3 Threads, and 1 Gizmo. The sticks can be found around the island, the thread is a gift from Tuxedosam, and the Gizmo is a gift from Chococat. Players can freely fish in deep water fishing spots with the rod.

4 Pickaxe

One tool that players are likely to pick up a little bit later is a Pickaxe. After reaching friendship level 11 with My Melody, the ‘Clearing the Oasis’ quest will become available. During this quest, the crafting plans for the Pickaxe will become available, and in order to craft it, players will need to acquire 10x Ingot and 10x Wood.

​​​​​​​​​​Unfortunately, both of those elements need to be crafted as well. The Ingot will require Iron Ore, and the Wood will require Coconuts. Once completed, the Pickaxe will be an available tool that can destroy boulders and retrieve otherwise unobtainable items.

3 Bug Net

The Bug Net is another excellent tool for players to grab as early as possible, and this one is specifically linked with Keroppi. To obtain the crafting plans for the Bug Net, players will need to level up Keroppi until the Nature Reserve-related quest begins. At that point, Keroppi will discuss his fascination with the critters of Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

​​​​​​​Players can learn about Keroppi’s Nature Reserve, where he plans to keep the critter community going with the help of Critter Lists. Keroppi, at this point, will have players craft a Bug Net to start catching the various critters on the island. The Bug Net can be crafted with 10 Sticks, 3 Threads, and 1 Light Stone. The Sticks can be found lying around, the Thread is Tuxedosam’s reward gift, and the Light Stone is Kuromi’s reward gift.

2 Snorkel

The Snorkel is perhaps one of the most essential items to craft as early as possible. Without it, not only are there treasures, like the mermaid costume in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, that can’t be obtained and quests that can’t be completed, but there is an entire character that can’t be met. Hangyodon is hanging out underwater in his Comedy Club, and the only way to reach him is with a Snorkel.

​​​​​​​The Snorkel crafting plans will become available only through Kuromi. After reaching level 6 friendship with her, the Deep Diving quest will become available, and players can obtain the Snorkel plans. To craft it, players need 10 Rubber, 2 Sparks, and 2 Ingot. The rubber can be found lying around, but the Sparks and Ingot must also be crafted.

1 Stamina Apples

The most important and valuable craft is Stamina Apples. These Apples allow players to increase their Stamina in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. It won’t increase it by another full wheel but by a portion. Therefore players can craft more of them to increase it continuously. Stamina is essential for exploring most of the items and drains quickly, so having more on hand can be a great resource.

​​​​​​​After obtaining some Stamina Apple Slices, speak with Chococat to unlock the Stamina Apple crafting plans. The Stamina Apple requires 5 Stamina Apple Slices, which can be found in either Chest around the island or obtained as a reward for reaching certain levels of friendship with characters in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
