On Saturday (May 6), Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will defend his undisputed middleweight title against contender John Ryder in one of the year’s most anticipated boxing matches.

The pay-per-view bout is scheduled to take place at Akron Stadium in Alvarez’s hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico, and will be the boxer’s first match in his hometown in 12 years.

Alvarez, 32, is favored over Ryder, 34, with a 94 percent probability of winning the match, Forbes reports. Both men are evenly matched in height (5′ 9″) and reach (70 inches) but differ in fight stats. Alvarez’s record stands at 58 wins (39 KOs), two losses and two draws. Ryder, a London native, has secured 32 wins and five losses (18 KOs).

How to Watch Canelo vs. Ryder Online

Canelo vs. Ryder will be available on DAZN in over 200 countries including the U.S. and Canada. The main card begins at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. According to DAZN, ring walks will start at around 11 p.m. ET/8. p.m. PT.

The fight is $74.98 to stream on DAZN$54.99 for the match and $19.99 for a 30-day subscription to the platform. You can also watch or stream the boxing match for $79.99 on; in addition to cable and satellite providers such as Xfinity, Spectrum, DirectTV and Dish.
