An extremely talented LEGO animator has created the ultimate recap for The Mandalorian season 3, highlighting the show’s flaws but making them incredibly fun. Star Wars and LEGO have gone hand in hand ever since the brand launched in 1999, leading to hundreds of collectible sets and a series of video games. However, it is Star Wars fan animations that offer the most creative possibilities, taking the galaxy far, far away in unexpectedly comedic directions.

The LEGO animation channel Bricksane has produced hundreds of outstanding videos that parody famous franchises, especially Star Wars. Their most recent video, “The Mandalorian BUT BETTER | Lego Blender Animation,” is a hilarious reimagining of The Mandalorian season 3 that lovingly pokes fun at some glaring issues:

Bricksane’s skill with LEGO animation is on full display, full of fluid character movement, dynamic action sequences, and hidden details in the background. The video examines The Mandalorian season 3’s redundant storylines, filler episodes, and convenient plot devices, all while making the season’s good moments even more enjoyable.

Everything We Know About The Mandalorian & Grogu Movie

The Mandalorian’s story will continue with a Star Wars movie. Here’s everything we know about the project, including cast, release, and timeline.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Was A Mixed Bag

But Star Wars fans make it work

The Mandalorian season 3 was undoubtedly a step down from the first two seasons, with Bricksane’s video covering the most significant problems. The Book of Boba Fett episodes featuring Din Djarin and Grogu should have been saved for The Mandalorian season 3, resulting in some arcs being drawn out to fill time. The season also had two filler episodes that could have been cut, shifted too much focus from Din Djarin to Bo-Katan Kryze, and waited until the end to finally show the battle with Moff Gideon to retake Mandalore.

However, Bricksane’s video proves that even flawed Star Wars projects can inspire far better stories. Comedic parodies can create something good out of something disappointing, while some fans pen their own detailed rewrites of the Star Wars movies and TV shows. The Mandalorian season 3 may have been a mixed bag, and not every Star Wars project will be a masterpiece, but at least other showrunners, authors, and fans can build on its foundation in the future.
